This is an official Vacancy Announcement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, for high-level contract positions under the Management Position (MP) Scales Policy. [1]

• Assistant Legal Advisor (MP-III) [1]

Key Job Details

• Tenure: Initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable for a maximum of two (02) additional years on an annual basis based on performance.
• Maximum Age Limit: 62 years calculated as of the application closing date.
• Selection Basis: Open merit. [1]

Eligibility & Qualifications

Position [1]	Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements
Deputy Legal Advisor (MP-II)	• Ph.D. in International Law + 05 years of experience as a licensed practicing Advocate in Pakistan. OR • Master’s in International Law + 07 years of experience as a licensed practicing Advocate in Pakistan.
Assistant Legal Advisor (MP-III)	• Ph.D. in International Law + 03 years of experience as a licensed practicing Advocate in Pakistan. OR • Master’s in International Law + 05 years of experience as a licensed practicing Advocate in Pakistan.

Compensation Breakdown

• MP-II Scale Package: Basic Pay of Rs. 263,180/- with a Rs. 39,480 annual increment. Includes House Rent (Rs. 95,700/-), Transport Monetization (Rs. 77,430/-), and Utilities Charges (Rs. 11,970/-). 
• MP-III Scale Package: Basic Pay of Rs. 184,230/- with a Rs. 26,320 annual increment. Includes House Rent (Rs. 47,850/-), Transport Monetization (Rs. 65,060/-), and Utilities Charges (Rs. 8,380/-).
